Jessica stares straight ahead, speechless. Normally he’s a complete ladies’ man, but they’ve just been having an emotional intimacy through talking. He finally reveals to Jessica’s shock that he hasn’t slept with her yet. Rav refuses to talk about her, even though Jessica continues to pester him with unique metaphors. Jessica rides with Rav to the video game conference, and she uses the time to ask about his latest girlfriend. “We just know you’re going to win fan favorite,” Lennon tells Joe as they help him try on the blazer. Even Queeneta agrees, “It’s both visual striking and emotional challenging.” Suddenly the ladies surprise Joe with a brand new blazer he can wear to show off his sophistication.
Long description: Joe nervously paces as he packs for the national video game conference where he intends to showcase his game, “Fatal Blowout.” Lennon and Jessica tell him he has nothing to be nervous about his game is amazing. Meanwhile, an unexpected encounter between Jessica and Rav has them questioning their true feelings for each other. The ladies quickly realize that in order for Joe to win Fan Favorite, they will need to cater to the nerds. Short description: Joe, Lennon, Jessica and Rav head to Atlantic City for a gaming convention to debut Joe’s videogame. Jessica’s new efforts are critiqued their precocious nine-year-old neighbor, Queenetta (Daija Owens), who’s not shy about doling out advice on the roomates’ life choices. Along the way, she reconnects with old friends like Rav (Stephen Schneider), a guy who may or may not have feelings for her. Jessica is trying to get used to her new life as a single woman. Joe tries to be understanding but begins to feel like a stranger in his own home.
Unfortunately, these don’t really include Joe (Luka Jones), Lennon’s live-in boyfriend. It doesn’t take long for the girls to fall into their old habits, like having movie marathons and late night girl talk sessions. When Jessica receives divorce papers via an overnight package, Lennon convinces her to return home to Brooklyn and to move back into her apartment.
